Monthly Medals for Men are normally held on the second Saturday, third Thursday and fourth Sunday of every month, with a further weekday for Seniors, but these dates have to be modified in the summer to make room for other events - choose Fixtures from the Menu above.

The qualifying season runs from September to August.

Players should book their own tee times and should write their names on the entry sheet, or enter using the club computer if it is available that day,  just before playing.

Annual subscriptions are due on 1 December each year and must be paid before entry to the January and any subsequent Medal or other competitions.

There are two Divisions - the first up to Handicap 15 and the second above that.

The winner of each Division in each month receives a medal (please ask at the Committee Room) and qualifies for the Final which is held in September.

Should a monthly medal be won by a player who has previously qualified for the Final, then the next placed player in that Division will qualify for the Final from that month.

Final winners (who could also win the September Monthly Medal) receive their Finals medals at the Annual Dinner and Dance.

If bad weather causes a postponement of a Monthly Medal round, or if there are fewer than 15 entrants, efforts will made to reschedule the round but that will depend on the availability of other dates.
