The Club's affiliation to England Golf brings many benefits for both the Club and its members. From 1st April 2021 it will be a condition of affiliation for all golf clubs to adopt the England Golf SafeGolf principles for safeguarding of juniors, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Beauchief Golf Club is committed, and currently well on the way, to completing the requirements of SafeGolf. Achieving full SafeGolf accreditation will ensure that the Club is delivering a safe and fun experience, and a safe environment for the sport to be played in. It forms part of our approach to the safeguarding of all members. Full details of the new Club policies, which supersede our previous junior policy, can be viewed using the links below. Please do note that the procedures are different for children and adults!

The Club also has two Welfare Officers who are available to support with any safeguarding matters and their contact details are also below. They are an integral part of our safeguarding policies and procedures. If you have any concerns for the welfare of any member, the procedures below show the appropriate guidance to follow but always best to involve a Welfare Officer at an early stage. Click on the link below to send them an email.
